Very basic site with beautiful views. Picnic table was convenient but would have loved to have had a potable water source too.

Originally we planned on camping on the beach however we ended up here and we both agreed that we were happy our reservation fell through because we enjoyed being here so much more! Absolutely amazing view and the peace and quiet was awesome! The drive up was so beautiful my wife ended up crying because she was so happy!! Thank you for letting us stay on your land!
Our pups also met cows for the first time haha!

Beautiful far reaching views. Quiet. Alone. Helpful, courteous and welcoming host. Interesting surroundings - would like to know how and the motivations of people living there. Twenty miles of twisting roads seems to keep the rif-raf away. Not a bad idea.

Wake up and watch the sunrise!
If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay the night then you have found it. The drive out to Sienna’s place is gorgeous. I haven’t seen stars like that in California in 40 years. The wildlife surrounding the property was so cool. Deer, turkey, roosters, etc. It was so quiet at night. Latest I have slept in for years. And in addition, Sienna and Chuck even put a little gas in my rig just in case I needed it to get back into town. An amazing experience! Thank you and I will be back!

Worth it
It’s further off the main highway than others but completely worth it. So peaceful and beautifulz very private and easy to navigate.
Older reviews complained about the steep driveway but we had zero issues with our tiny campervan that has two wheel drive. Seems like they’ve been updating the space!
I’d definitely come back. Best sleep we got on this road trip.

Nice view of the surrounding hills
If you want a scenic place to park for the night and your trailer/rv door opens to the driver side, this site might be perfect. The site was awkwardly situated for our trailer. We wanted our front door to face the view, we eventually figured out that the only option was to back up a pretty steep hill. It was impossible to enter the site from the opposite direction, because the dirt was too soft. I think a 4 wheel drive with a little more power could have done it, but we couldn’t, so backing up was our only option.
When we Hipcamp, we like to be able to stroll the property, but there was no where to go. The spot is near a barb wire fence and the host’s house is fairly close, closer than it seems in the pictures. The pictures are accurate, but it wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for, though it was a pleasant place to spend an evening.
A fun surprise was a visit from some cows. They were were on the other side fence, but when they migrate for water they got close enough to touch. No, we didn’t actually touch them, but it was fun. Also, this is a beautiful spot for stargazing without a telescope. (There are probably too many lights in the distance for a telescope.) We were able to see the milkyway.
